Although not specific to Muhimbi's solutions, the SharePoint screen for enabling / disabling Web Application scoped Features can be hard to find. The actual location depends on your SharePoint version:
- SharePoint 2007: Central Admin / Application Management / Manage Web application features.
- SharePoint 2010 and later: Open Central Administration / Application Management / Manage Web Application, select the relevant Web Application and click Manage features.
