The Muhimbi PDF Converter Professional is an add-on for the PDF Converter for SharePoint and PDF Converter Services that adds a number of facilities for the Enterprise market including the ability to post-process any PDF file and convert it to PDF/A.
Please note that this product is an Add-on and will not function without an appropriate license for either the PDF Converter for SharePoint or PDF Converter Services. A separate download is not needed, all functionality is unlocked by the license key.
Muhimbi's range of PDF Conversion products is used on thousands of servers all over the world to convert, secure, watermark, merge and process PDF files in a robust, reliable and scalable manner. All common document formats including MS-Word, Excel, InfoPath, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Visio, MS-Publisher, HTML, e-mail and various image based formats are supported and converted with the highest possible fidelity.
A flexible licensing model
To keep our software affordable for small organisations with a single Server, while still being able to provide support for larger organisations with dozens of servers across multiple locations, the following license types are available. Click here for detailed pricing information.
- Server License: Allows the software to be used on a single server. Purchase a copy for each server the product is used on.
- Enterprise License: Allows the software to be used on an unlimited number of servers in the organisation.
All licenses include 1 year of support during which all upgrades are free. The support contract can be renewed after this period expires. When the contract is not renewed you can continue to use any version that was released before the expiry of the contract. Hardware Requirements
The following hardware is recommended as a minimum for each Web Front End Server that runs the PDF Converter:

This depends on the size and complexity of the documents that are converted and the number of concurrent conversions taking place. We recommend a minimum of 1GB of total memory.

Any CPU that comfortably runs any of the supported server operating systems. We recommend one or more multi-core CPUs.
