After paying by debit or credit card, you will gain immediate access to your license. If you prefer to pay
by a different means, select the Purchase Order option during check-out. The license is issued automatically
upon receipt of payment.
If your organisation requires Muhimbi to fill out forms or paperwork, accept terms and conditions or payment
terms beyond 7 days, we recommend purchasing via one of your preferred software partners to prevent delays.
We are happy to work with any software partner and frequently take orders from the likes of SHI,
Insight, Comparex and CDW. Please see the below section for more information and specific instructions regarding reselling.

Although we do not provide a reseller discount, we do work with quite a few software resellers who purchase on
behalf of their clients, as those clients prefer to have a single source for all procurement.
When purchasing on behalf of someone else, please place the order in your own organisation’s name and –
once purchased – send the end customer details described
in this KB article to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not access the license
key on the Muhimbi Website; the correct key will be sent by email.
If you represent an integrator and repeatedly place orders on behalf of multiple customers, please
contact us for a special purchase code.
Muhimbi's SharePoint software is licensed perpetually and includes the first year of maintenance and support
at no additional charge. Once purchased, the software will continue to work even if you decide not to renew
support. However, only through being covered by Maintenance & Support will you be entitled to unlimited
access to our support desk as well as software upgrades.
Muhimbi's software is licensed on a per-server basis. This means that you
need a license for every server that runs our software including Disaster Recovery environments, all Web Front
End servers, all Application Servers participating in workflows
(how to determine this), and all servers running the
conversion service. Any K2 Workflow Servers that have our K2 integration facilities installed require a license
as well. You will find that the unlimited Enterprise License is the most economical option for most
When purchasing the PDF Converter Professional add-on, the license purchased must match the main PDF Converter's
License. For example, an Enterprise License for the PDF Converter for SharePoint requires an Enterprise License for the
PDF Converter Professional, while a Small Farm license for the PDF Converter Services requires a Small Farm
license for the PDF Converter Professional.
Separate OEM Licenses are also available. Please note that SAAS (Software As A Service) based solutions require
